Yep. I'm on the bandwagon. This stuff is the bomb!
Seriously, anything is fair game at the moment. Here are a few of my ORB spray paint projects.
Lime tree terracotta pot.
This pot was left by the previous home owners. It wasn't in great shape and actually has a long hairline crack down one side. Perfect - I figured if this didn't go to plan, there was no harm done (or money wasted!)
No priming or preparation was done with this, other than a quick brush off of the dust and cobwebs. It's out in the elements and really has taken a beating, but it's holding up really well and still looks pretty good.
Well, I have just noticed though that there are a few bubbles appearing on one side - I have a feeling this is where the crack is...I might just spin it around to face the fence! hehehe
My Yukka offcuts are currently growing in another terracotta pot collection. Again, no priming or major prep, just a good spray with Rustoleum brand ORB.
I saw this clever idea on House of Hepworths - spray painting your soap pump and thought I'd give it a try.
A few quick coats...
It certainly makes an impact, but I'm not sure if I'm sold on it as yet. I liked the vinyl lettering that HoH put on her soap pump, but I'm thinking of something like a white horizontal stripe or two around the base. The Boy totally isn't sold on it though. He's seriously disappointed that he can no longer see how much soap is actually left in the pump bottle. (Yeah, we're worried about the big issues in our household!)
Being that I'm the one that refills the darn thing anyways, I think he's just going to have to live with this one. heehee
